The new season is nearly upon us already with just a few weeks
to the big kick off. Just a reminder that pre-season training
starts this Wednesday 7th July at the Marches, Lochfield Road,
Paisley at 6:30pm. Any new players are welcome.

Tannahill 'A' lost 5-2 to Paisley Thistle tonight and had Willie
Fraser sent off. Terrance Allan and Chris Haldane scored. This
followed another two heavy defeats. Willie Fraser scored in
a 6-1 loss to Hillington and Jim McKellar notched in 7-1 reverse
to Glenburn. Tannahill meanwhile, lost out 5-2 to Houston on
Saturday. Craig Jack and Ross Martin got the goals.

Tannahill 'A's sorry season continued on Monday after a 4-1
league defeat by Glenburn. On Wednesday, Tannahill lost 5-1
to Paisley also on league business. Willie Fraser scored the
Tans goal in both games.

Tannahill recorded a 2-0 win over Paisley Athletic on Saturday
with Frazer Martin and Brendan Watt on the scoresheet but lost
narrowly last Monday 1-0 to runnaway 3rd division leaders Stievenstoun.
Tannahill 'A' lost 5-1 to 3rd division North Kelvin last week
followed by a narrow 2-1 league defeat to Hillington at the
weekend. Willie Fraser was again on target.

Here are the latest results. Tannahill have recorded 2 victories
in their last three league games. Stuart McPhee and Thomas
Robertson scored in a 2-1 win over Kilbarchan. Robertson scored
again as Tans norrowly lost out 2-1 to Houston but bounced
back on Saturday with a 3-2 victory over Blackstoun. Frazer
Martin (2) and Michael Matthews with the goals.
Tannahill 'A' suffered a 5-0 reverse to Ferguslie followed
by a narrow 3-2 cup defeat at the hands of Fordbank despite
two goals from Willie Fraser. Bishopton then claimed a single
goal league victory.

Tannahill drew 2-2 with Paisley today. Davy Clark and Stuart
McPhee were on target for Tans. Meanwhile, Tannahill 'A' suffered
an 8-0 mauling at the hands of Fordbank Star.

Tans were dumped out of the Ciba cup today by West End Villa.
Thomas Robertson and Ross Martin scored for Tans. Tannahill
'A' had no fixture.

Tannahill progressed to the third round of the McLean Lothian
Cup after a 4-1 victory over Dumbarton Wanderers. In their third
win in a row, Thomas Robertson and Davy Clark each scored twice
for Tans. Meanwhile, a makeshift Tannahill 'A' side lost out
to Glasgow Deaf. Lee McMenamay scored for
Tans in the 2-1 defeat.

Tannahill recorded a rare league win today by beating Blackstoun
3-2. Thomas Robertson, Colin Forbes and Davy Clark scored for
Tans to record only their second league win of the season.

Tannahill handed out an 8-0 mauling to Glasgow Deaf in the first
round of the Ciba Cup with Thomas Robertson claiming a hat-trick.
Tannahill 'A' were on the wrong end of a doing as they were
beaten 9-3 by Glynhill. Aaron McIntyre, David Watson and Neil
Fraser got the Tans goals.

Tannahill's wretched league form continued today as they were
beaten 2-0 by Johnstone Thistle. This followed a narrow 1-0
defeat last week to Paisley Reid Kerr in the West of Scotland
Cup. Tannahill 'A's match was again postponed this week.

The Tannahill Race Night will be held on Saturday 6th March
at Gabriels in Paisley. The night starts at 7pm prompt and will
continue with a disco until 1am. Please see Walter in the next
couple of weeks to buy tickets and horses. The ticket cost will
be 2 for £5.00 with horses available
to buy at £2.50 each.
It is asked that everyone attend the night and bring as many
friends and family as possible to ensure a profitable night
for the club.

No game for Tannahill today, but Tannahill 'A' came from behind
late on to claim a 1-1 draw with Boswell. Chris Haldane's free
kick rescued a point for Tans. Read

After the long lay off, Tannahill finally got a game on Astro
grass tonight but lost out heavily to 2nd Division Glenburn.
Brendan Watt, Ian Fraser, Gary Young and Colin Forbes were on
target in the 7-4 reverse.
