Match report by Walter McMenamay

This McCreadie Cup match had to be played on astro grass due to the weather of late and Tans started the game with what looked like a strong formation, and this proved the case.

After 18 minutes when Tans won a free kick which was turned into the goal by a Craigilea player. Following this, the result never really looked in doubt with Tans taking control of the game. It was a good team effort as the match moved into the second half with more and more chances being created by Tans.

The two hard working young forwards were not having a good day so it was left to the old war-horse in midfield, Willie Fraser to come up with the chances on goal and managed to blast one home from close range after a great run and nice passing move (this made up for his earlier miss from the same position).

All in all, it was a very good performance from the team. With 17 players to choose from on Saturday some boys were left out of the starting line up. I can only ask that every player lets me know that they are definatly making the game on Saturdays and those who were left out will get their chance as soon as possible.
