Tannahill recorded their first league victory of the season today. Stephen Maguire & Chris Haldane both scored a brace in the 4-3 defeat of Hillington.

Tannahill picked up thier first league point of the season with a 1-1 draw with Linwood Welfare. Chris Haldane was on target for Tans. Tannahill 'A' lost narrowly to Abercorn. Lee McMenamay and Kieran Small scored in the 3-2 defeat.

Two heavy defeats for the Tannahill teams today. Tans lost 8-3 to Boswell with John Kennedy, Fraser Martin & Scott Muirhead scoring. Tannahill 'A' went down 6-2 to Glenburn Athletic. Manager Walter McMenamay had this to say.

"Decent start to the game by both teams with a few chances being missed. "Glenburn took the lead which was quickly cancelled out by Stephen Hall for Tans who got clean through on the keeper before rounding him to slot home.

"The second half was shocking with Tans losing every ball and going behind 6-1 (a couple of gifts from us contributed and a goal that never was awarded by the ref never helped matters). Then sub and new signing Kieran Small scored on his debut to make it 6-2."

Tannahill are still without a league point this season as they narrowly lost 2-1 to Ferguslie in their latest fixture. Calum McDonald got the goal for Tans. Tannahill 'A' were awarded the points for their match with Johnstone Castle.

Tannahill 'A' crashed out of the McLean Lothian Cup at the first hurdle after a 5-4 penalty shoot out defeat to lowly Division 4 side Woodwynd Wolves. Goals from Neil Fraser, Stephen Hall and Andy McKellar had seen the match finish 3-3. Tannahill had no fixture.

Both teams suffered single goal defeats today. Another goal from Frazer Martin wasn't enough for Tannahill to avoid a 2-1 league defeat to Houston despite playing well. Tannahill 'A' were knocked out the McCready Cup by Abercorn after losing 1-0.

Tannahill's Scottish Cup campaign ended today with a 5-3 defeat to Whitefield Rovers of Blantyre. On the mark for Tans were Frazer Martin and JP McKevitt to add to an own goal. Tannahill 'A's match was postponed.

Tannahill exited the West of Scotland Cup today with a 4-0 home defeat to Drumchapel FP. Tannahill 'A' recorded an amazing 5-5 draw at home to Abercorn. Scorers for Tans were Stephen Hall, Kevin Reed, Jim McKellar, John McNabb and William Walker.

Tannahill turned in a terrific performance to thump Cotters 4-1 today and progress to the next round of the McLean Lothain Cup. Lee McMenamay, Frazer Martin, Chris Wheatley and Calum McDonald were on target for Tans. Tannahill 'A's cup tie was postponed.

After the holiday weekend last week, both Tannahill matches were postponed today. The draw for next weekend's McLean Lothian Cup ties couldn't have been more contrasting for the tannahill teams. Tans are at home to Cotters who currently sit top of Division 1 and Tannahill 'A' have been drawn away to Woodwynd Wolves of Kilwinning who are currently propping up Division 4.

Tannahill recorded their first win of the season today with a 3-2 victory over 3rd Division Clydesdale United. Goals from Callum McDonald, Frazer Martin and Colin Forbes ensured Tans progress to round three of the Fleming Cup.
